Briannie is a first year student at Chichester College studying Motorsport Engineering. She also works part time at a local garage and one day would love to be an engineer in Formula E and a test driver.

George is a year 11 student at Portsmouth UTC and hopes to study next year at Loughborough College. His ambition is to become a professional racing driver.

The teens live in Droxford with dad Richard, mum Kellie and sister Hannah, 12.

The team is completely run by the family who fund, maintain and pit crew the vehicles.

'This type of racing is expensive but we love it and cannot thank our parents enough for giving us this opportunity,’ said Briannie.

‘We are always on the look-out for sponsors to back us.’

Both racers started their motorsport careers aged seven, racing Ninja karts in short oval racing.

They progressed onto National Ministox, a junior stock car category, which saw them compete in the UK and the Netherlands.

Racing runs in the family - Richard used to race stock cars and his mother, Sue, raced at Ringwood Raceway until well into her 50s.

George’s race number is 281, his dad’s former race number, while Briannie’s number is 285 - which was Sue’s former number.
