Pompey fans on social media have welcomed news of the Blues’ latest acquisition – Charlie Daniels.

The former Bournemouth left-back has completed his much-anticipated switch to Fratton Park, after the expiry of his short-term Shrewsbury deal.

The 34-year-old has joined until the end of the season – but isn’t eligible to feature against Hull today.
