Pompey face £5,000 after derby heroics
Michael Appleton’s side picked up six bookings in Saturday’s dramatic 2-2 draw.
That automatically warrants a punishment in accordance with the Football Association’s disciplinary procedures.

Hide AdRules state any club with six or more players cautioned or dismissed from the field of play in the same match will be automatically fined.
Jamie Ashdown, Ricardo Rocha, Scott Allan, Luke Varney, Chris Maguire and Kelvin Etuhu were all booked.
As a Championship club, that tally of six ensures Pompey are issued with a £5,000 fine.
It is a penalty the Blues’ finances can ill-afford to be served with.

And the combative approach was certainly key in collecting a 2-2 draw at their biggest rivals and Championship leaders.
It was Etuhu who earned the decisive sixth booking, despite not being on the pitch.
The winger had been replaced by substitute Dave Kitson in the 69th minute.

Hide AdYet he was given a yellow card by referee Neil Swarbrick after joining in with the Pompey players’ celebrations following David Norris’ injury-time equaliser.
Norris, though, was not booked, despite jumping in amongst the Pompey fans.
Back in February 2008, Manchester United incurred an automatic £25,000 fine.
This was after seven of their players were booked during the 1-1 draw with Spurs at White Hart Lane.
That is the standard punishment for a Premier League club.
