Distribution of the 1971 Southsea holiday guide was well under way, and about 6,000 copies had been dispatched in the first month of the year.

JC Newbald, the manageress of the Southsea Information Bureau, said 50,000 guides were sent to all parts of the United Kingdom, Europe and as far afield as Australia,

Poland and America.
