WATCH: Children unite for snow day fun '“ and so do pets
Children across The News’ patch are donning their snow gear and heading outside to enjoy the wintry conditions.
All smiles, Isabelle Hobbs, nine, and her six-year-old brother, Jude, were both out in Cosham Park this morning.

Hide AdIsabelle said: ‘We love the snow and wanted to be out early this morning to make the most of it.’
But it isn’t just young people having fun out in the cold, with pets and zoo animals springing to action too.
Jenny Booker was in Cosham this morning walking her dog, Trixie.
She said: ‘There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. I love the snow and so does Trixie.’
Our feline friends have also been getting in on the action.

Hide AdFlutes the cat has been exploring the transformation of the back garden.
Flutes’ owner Sarah Nickalls, 21 from Portsmouth, said: ‘It’s the first time I’ve seen snow falling, there’s so much of it.
‘It looks so beautiful.’
Despite the memories being made by families across the county, many have faced disruption because of the weather.
One supermarket in Havant has faced critically low food stocks, with residents panic-buying.
Cosham, however, got off lightly.

Hide AdDaniel Apalit, who works in Oxygen Newsagents, said: ‘Even though the weather has been bad we haven’t been affected so we kept good stock of essentials.’
