Blue skies forecast in Portsmouth ahead of first weekend back at the pubs

OUR long-awaited first pints in the weekend sunshine won't be disrupted by our usual bad weather, according to the Met Office.

This weekend's weather forecast shows Portsmouth is set for a weekend of sunshine - although it isn't quite shorts and t-shirt weather just yet.

Saturday will be largely sunny with highs of 11C and lows of 8C.

While Sunday will see some clouds in the sky, it's expected to be slightly warmer, with highs of 12C set to last for a good few hours in the afternoon.
