Register to vote now to have a say at the polls in Havant
On May 5, as well as voting being held for councillors for local authorities, the police and crime commissioner elections are also taking place.
Nick Leach, returning officer for Havant Borough Council, said: ‘The deadline to register is Monday, April 18.
‘So if you’re not already registered, please don’t delay.’

Hide AdIn Havant, once registered, residents will be able to vote for their local councillor in all 14 wards across the borough.
Seats are up in Barncroft, Battins, Bedhampton, Bondfields, Cowplain, Emsworth, Hart Plain, Hayling East, Hayling West, Purbrook, St Faith’s, Stakes, Warren and Waterloo.
Residents can register to vote online at gov.uk/register-to-vote or obtain a registration form by calling (023) 9244 6225/6.
Voters can have their say using postal votes, which means not having to visit the ballot box on May 5.
You can apply for a postal vote application form before April 19.
