Starlink viewing times Portsmouth: When can you see the SpaceX satellites above the UK
However it is not stars but is actually a number of satellites launched by billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX company.
Known as the Starlink satellites they are designed to provide low-cost broadband internet service.

Hide AdAccording to its website, the constellation of thousands of satellite will deliver high speed broadband internet to locations where access has been unreliable, expensive, or completely unavailable.
If you haven’t managed to spot the Starlink satellites shooting across the sky yet – don’t worry, there is still time to catch them.
A number of trackers have been launched to keep you in the loop about when it is best to see them over the coming days.
Here’s when you can see Starlink in Portsmouth over the coming days:
Friday, April 24

Hide AdThe satellites will be visible again in Portsmouth on Friday night.
Starlink-5,6 are due to pass over the skies at 9.10pm and will be visible for six minutes.
Look from west to east.
Saturday, April 25
Starlink satellites will be visible on Saturday night.
You can see Starlink-5,6 from 9.45pm on April 25 – for six minutes.

Hide AdResidents are advised to look from west to east to spot them.
Sunday, April 26
There will be two chances to see the satellites on Sunday - but you will have to be up early.
First Starlink-2 will be visible at 4.25am for three minutes – you will have to look from south to east to spot them.
Then Starlink-3 will be passing over the skies from 4.50am and will be visible for six minutes – look from west to east.
