Housing estate at Havant that might hide an underground tunnel
One was Belmont Camp which was a building site for new housing when the navy requisitioned it.
Some of the houses were used for officers but Nissen huts were the usual billet for the ordinary sailor.

It is not a Nissen hut but it looks to me like a shelter covering an underground area. Can anyone remember? I know it is more than 70 years since its demise but there might be someone who recalls it.
Any other photographs of the site would also be of interest.
