Emergency services called to the scene of Cosham road traffic incident
Emergency services have been called to the scene of a road traffic incident on Southampton Road in Cosham this morning.
According to an eyewitness, the collision involved at least one vehicle – a burgundy Dacia – and took place on the junction between the A27 and the M257 near Lakeside North Harbour.
A spokesperson from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: ‘We were called at 8.14am today, 11 April, to reports of a collision on Southampton Road near the junction with Western Road. The collision was between a Toyota Yaris and a Vauxhall Vivaro. Minor injuries were reported.’
It is believed that an ambulance stopped as it was driving past.
