UPDATE: Man in lorry containing illegal immigrants taken to hospital
Police pulled over a heavy goods vehicle in Walton Road, Drayton, earlier today before discovering there were immigrant families packed in the back.
Hampshire’s roads policing unit tweeted that a ‘multi-agency response’ is underway following the incident.

Hide AdAmbulance crews were at the scene checking over people to ensure they’re not harmed.
One man has been taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.
A spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service said: ‘We got a call at 9.45am this morning to attend Walton Road.
‘We sent an ambulance officer, our hazard area response team and two ambulance crews, and they were assisting 28 people.
‘One adult male has been taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital suffering with a medical complaint.’
