RAM-RAIDERS have smashed a cash machine out of a convenience store.

Criminals used a JCB diggers to remove the ATM from the Tesco Express in Lovedean Lane, Waterlooville.

Officers were called to the shop today in the early hours.

It’s temporarily closed.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: ‘Police were called at 3.45am this morning to reports of a burglary at Tesco Express, Lovedean Lane.

‘It has been reported that offenders were seen to be using a JCB to break into the ATM.

‘The incident is currently under investigation.’
