Police arrest two teenagers as suspected BB gun shooting leads officers to uncover drugs and weapons in Havant

Officers are investigating reports of three incidents of anti-social behaviour believed to involve a BB gun around Havant Park, taking place across Saturday to Monday.
The incidents led police to search an address in Havant on Monday, which saw officers seize a number of weapons and suspected Class A drugs.

Hide AdTwo teenagers have been arrested in connection with the investigation, according to a spokeswoman from Hampshire Constabulary.
She said: ‘A 19-year-old man from Havant was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm, firing an air weapon beyond premises, possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
‘A 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.’
Both teenagers have been released from police custody but remain under investigation.
