Gosport heroin and crack cocaine gang facing jail after Hampshire police seize £275,000 worth of drugs

Seven men from Portsmouth, Gosport and London are now facing jail after the final defendant among them was convicted at a Portsmouth Crown Court trial today.
It comes as Hampshire police’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit investigated the Gosport-centred gang between September 2018 and May 1, 2019.

Hide AdDuring this time officers seized the class A drugs and around £74,500 in cash.
Rayhaan Hoque, 38, of Woolmore Street in Tower Hamlets, London, was today of two charges of conspiring to supply class A drugs. He denied the allegations.
Four other men pleaded guilty in February and March this year to the same two charges.
They included Gosport men Luke Goldsmith, 28, of Rambler Drive; John Parham, 33, of The Crossways; Lance Burt, 22, of Bury Hall Lane.

Hide AdJack Darvill, 22, of Londesborough Road, Southsea, also admitted the two charges.
Liam Whitnell, 37, formerly of HMP Dovegate, and Jacob James, 26, of Briar Close, in Gosport, admitted a single charge of conspiring to supply class A.
All seven will be sentenced on Thursday.
