POLICE responding to a concern for welfare call have rescued a woman in Fareham town centre.

Officers were called after a 22-year-old woman was reported missing at 7.30pm yesterday.

A special constable and a PCSO found the woman in need of emergency first aid underneath a pedestrian bridge in West Street, according to a spokeswoman from Hampshire Constabulary.
