A thief stole a child’s ride-on car in a brazen burglary.

Police were called to Agincourt Drive, in Sarisbury Green, at 2.15pm on Sunday, January 10, after a ride-on blue Audi TT child’s car and its charger were reported missing from a home’s garage.

A witness said they had seen someone walking through the area with the car under their arm.

Electric ride-on cars – suitable for children from three to eight year olds depending on the model – can sell for as much as £150.

A spokesman from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We are particularly keen to view any CCTV or dashcam footage from the local vicinity.’
